Now we are starting to get more details about George Zimmerman from friends.
Here is what friends and others are saying. This video includes an interview with Joe Oliver, a friend of Zimmerman's, who said that after the shooting, Zimmerman couldn't stop crying. In addition, Oliver said that Zimmerman is in hiding and fearing for his life, and when discussing the potential racial slur Zimmerman said on a 911 call, Oliver suggests that a word like "goon" is a term of endearment. Zimmerman's legal advisor is also suggesting that more evidence about a self-defense claim will come out and provide a more balanced picture.
Oliver also said that Martin was on top of Zimmerman and also questioned the whole notion that Zimmerman chose to pursue Martin. Oliver also claims that the Sanford Police does not have the evidence to charge Zimmerman, so he believes that something is not being shared here and that there are two sides to every story.
