UPDATE: August 31, 2012, 9am EST: @MexicanMitt is back on Twitter.

On the night that Mitt Romney was to give his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, reports from our friends at Pocho.com have confirmed that the Twitter account of @MexicanMitt has been suspended.

Today Pocho got an advanced copy of the speech that MexicanMitt was to give tonight. A full transcript can be seen here in the following Mexclusive. Here is an excerpt:

JEB BUSH, or as I sometimes call him, YEB. He is practically my only Latino supporter, him and that Puerto Rican lady who got yelled at. And she can't even vote for me, SHE'S FROM PUERTO RICO! Enjoy your papaya.

He's the papi of "The Little Brown Ones." I also like to call JEB BUSH "The Big Beige One." Too bad you got that last name, amigo.

I ACCEPT THE PINCHE NOMINATION OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO BE THE FIRST LATINO PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED ESTATES!

PEOPLES ask me what am I gonna do when I become EL JEFE of the UNITED ESTATES. Will I appoint Latinos to my cabinet when I am crowned Presidente?

Of course! It's my turn. I can do whatever the hells I want. I will take care of my Latinos. I will appoint them to CLEANING MY CABINETS WITH LEMON PLEDGE.

YUST KEEDING, I WOULD APPOINT A LATINO AS SECRETARY OF WHITE HOUSE LAWN CARE.

I will create a Department of Self-Deportation, and take the money we save from border enforcement and give me more tax cuts.

I will bury Sarah Palin in a hole far, far North in the pinche tundra.

I will cut every single program that helps the pobres and give those moneys to myself and all my friends and donors. Hey, at least I'm honest, not like that "YOU DIDN'T BUILD THAT" guy.

Meanwhile, later in the evening, MexicanMitt's Twitter account got suspended. Now supporters of Mexican Mitt are taking their cause to #FreeMexicanMitt on Twitter.

Pocho has published an update about all this.

UPDATE: NBC Latino just reported additional details as to what happened to the very popular parody account. Here is the scoop:

One thing should be made clear — Mexican Mitt, who’s most public supporter and friend is popular satirist and NBC Latino contributor Lalo Alcaraz, has been known to tweet controversial comments and makes his share of enemies on Twitter.

For his part, Alcaraz has a theory. “There was some guy who got really upset with Mexican Mitt,” Alcaraz says. “Mexican Mitt told him something like, ‘don’t be so butt hurt because your account sucks and mine doesnt.’ I think the guy may have reported it as abuse.” Alcaraz says an automated message from Twitter said the account would be reinstated if Mexican Mitt responded by saying he agreed to the Twitter terms of service. He acquiesced.

The move to suspend the parody account by Twitter came on the same day Romney’s campaign made history by becoming the first presidential campaign to buy a trending topic on Twitter.

The hashtag #RomneyRyan2012 was promoted by the campaign for a minimum of $120,000, according to Mashable.

As of 8:52 p.m. ET, the #RomneyRyan2012 hashtag had seen nearly 10,000 unique tweets (not retweets).
