First, I agree completely agree with Raul Ramos’s comments in the Facebook section. Univision took a great setup and didn’t maximize it to it’s full potential for all the reasons Raul said.
I remember as an Anglo living in a predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood many years ago, I used to get stopped all the time because I seemed “out of place” in the neighborhood (they didn’t suspect that I had any business in the area except for drug transactions, I guess). I learned that anybody is stoppable at anytime (didn’t have turn signal on within X amount of feet, my car didn’t have a light above the license plate, and even times when the reason wasn’t entirely clear to me. The point is that anybody can be stopped at anytime. Who is to say that you really didn’t swerve or that your stop was complete or that X isn’t a violation? Probable cause is totally an illusive concept and can rarely if ever get proven,. .
