#NoMames: Schlafly Thinks GOP Should Focus More on White Vote and Ignore Latino Vote

Phyllis Schlafly of the Eagle Forum is one clueless Republican. Today, Schlafly basically shared more ignorance about U.S. Latinos in a minute than most people will share in a lifetime.

We have no words. Just listen to what she had to say when asked about whether the Republican Party should do a better job in reaching out to U.S. Latino voters. (h/t to Right Wing Watch)

Well, I think that’s a great myth because the Hispanics that come in like this are going to vote Democrat, and there is not the slightest bit of evidence that they’re going to go vote Republican. And… the… the… the.. people that the Republicans should reach out to are the white votes, the white voters who didn’t vote in the last election, and there are millions of them, and I think when you have an establishment-run nomination system, they give us a series of losers, which they’ve given us with Dole and McCain and Romney, and they give us people that don’t connect with the grass-roots. And so, ah, ah, I think that, I think they’re leading us, the propagandists are leading us down the wrong path. There is not any evidence at all that these Hispanics coming in from Mexico will vote Republican.

We won’t even merit a factual response to this. Ok, just one. Quick: name the last GOP “winner.” What did President Bush do? Anyone? Anyone?

Ok, now we will just let Gollum speak for us.
