Los Pinos is the official home and office of Mexico’s president.
Yesterday at the Tacubaya subway station in Mexico City, a group of police confronted protesters who were heading to Los Pinos as a symbolic occupation of the residence, where President Enrique Peña Nieto resides. This occupation, according to local reports, was part of a Civil Disobedience movement formed by #MéxicoSOS. Many in Mexico still believe that Peña Nieto’s PRI party rigged last years’s presidential elections.
Here are two videos of the confrontations.
