Media Moves: Fusion Cancels First Show

In a January 17 report by Media Moves, Fusion, a new network formed out of a highly publicized partnership between Univision and ABC, has canceled “DNA,” hosted by Derrick Ashong. The move comes just three months after the network launched to mixed reviews.

According to Media Moves article, no new “DNA” shows will be produced. In addition, the article says that “‘The Morning Show’ will be moved to primetime in the coming weeks, reairing the following morning.’ News of the changes, which included layoffs, according to a Fusion staffer who spoke with Media Moves, occurred on January 16.

The Media Movies pieces says that Ashong will remain with the network.
