So after gearing up for today’s ‘Shut Down All Ports’ protest, the lead organizer cancelled the event earlier this morning, citing “an unsubstantiated threat of mass violence to attendees, along with very suspicious activity on the Facebook site.”

Cancelled

A few hours after Stasyi Barth posted the following, she told this to The Blaze:

It was [a] cartel threatening a blood bath, [Facebook] hits coming [en] masse from Mexico. One of the organizers was being followed and was verbally told not to go.

Ahh yes, the “cartel threat” again. We’ve heard that one before.

Yeah, that MUST be it, because it wasn’t the fact that no one was going to attend. Barth’s ambitious plan had only gotten about 136 RSVPs.

Barth didn’t share any specifics. What a surprise.
