The first-ever Queens Lit Crawl debuts this coming Thursday April 7 in honor of National Poetry Month. Latino Rebels founding member and Bronx Writers Center Director Charlie Vázquez is a featured curator and will be hosting a superb lineup of award-winning Latin@ literary ninjas from the Puerto Rican, Dominican, Colombian, Cuban and West Indian communities. You can expect lots of surprises and revolutionary rantings from some of New York’s finest avant-garde wordsmiths.

This special Bronx Council on the Arts poetry showcase will take place at Dominie’s Hoek, 48-17 Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens, on Thursday, April 7th. The show starts at 7pm sharp and wristbands can be purchased through the Queens Lit Crawl site.

Featured performers include Edgar Cabrera, Peggy Robles Alvarado, María Rodríguez, Sydney Valerio, Carlos Valencia, Skye Cabrera, Orlando Ferrand, José Batista-Ayala, Heather Archibald, Urayoán Noel, Carlos Manuel Rivera and Andrés Chulisi Rodríguez. Not to be missed, NYC-area Rebeldes!
