Café Tacvba is back with the new single “Un Par De Lugares,” available today at all digital stores. The track is from the band’s latest sessions with their iconic Argentine producer, Gustavo Santaolalla, whom they have worked with since their first album.

Rubén Albarrán, Joselo Rangel, Quique Rangel and Emmanuel del Real recorded “Un Par De Lugares” at the Soga Recording Studio in Morelos, Mexico this past July. Produced by Santaolalla and mixed by American engineer Nathan “Mick” Guzauski (Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Prince, Daft Punk), the rock-n-roll sound with electronica vibe’s tune preserves the humorous trademark the band is known for.

“This is a song that talks about the feeling of absence and how we go to a pair of places —our mind and our heart— to recover the thoughts and feelings that help us alleviate the pain,” Albarrán explains.

After four years of silence, here is “Un Par De Lugares.”
