This DACA Recipient Was Arrested and Detained After He Overstayed a Curfew at a Skate Park

This weekend, Latino USA on NPR talked to Josué Romero, a 19-year-old DACA recipient who went to a skate park in San Antonio on February 14, “but when he overstayed the park’s curfew of 11 p.m., the police stopped to question him. That’s when they found about two grams of marijuana, a misdemeanor in Texas.”
