Our friends at NPR’s Latino USA released a one-hour show about what it means to claim Afro-Latinidad in this day and age. To say it is a must listen is an understatement—it is perhaps the most real and complex conversation we have heard in a long time.

The show’s first segment with Amilcar Priestley, Marjua Estevez, M. Tony Peralta and Jamila Brown is particularly top-notch, as well as a story dedicated to Arturo Schomburg. In addition, host Maria Hinojosa spoke to Rep. Adriano Espaillat and why the Black Congressional Caucus won’t make him a member.
