Yes, the Internet is a good thing sometimes. As we did a little Google searching about the saying "no seas pendejo," (don't ask why) we found the following short film by Juan Botta, and we are glad we did.
Here is the full film, which won a Special Jury Prize from Puerto Rico's "Cinefiesta" in 2010. The film was originally shot in Spanish with subtitles.
