Yesterday on Univsion's Al Punto, President Obama's senior advisor David Axelrod appeared on the show with Jorge Ramos.

Axelrod covered many issues, but the one people are talking about is this one:

“I think it would be an insult to the Hispanic community to choose Sen. Rubio…if Gov. Romney thinks that’s sort of a get-out-of-jail free card for all of the things and the positions that he’s taken."

Axelrod went on to list what has become Romney's "Latino problem," which include opposition to the DREAM Act, his association with neo-nativists Kris Kobach (rumored to be the head of Homeland Security in a Romney administration?) and Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and his position against the healthcare law. Axelrod continued, "So, I think if people vote in their self-interest there’s no question, no matter who’s on the ticket with Gov. Romney, that the choice is clearly to vote for President Obama."

At the same time, when Ramos asked Axelrod about President Obama's "Latino problem" and his record deportations, Axelrod blamed the Republicans who turned away from comprehensive immigration reform, after they supported President Bush's call for immigration reform.
