For those who thought that #YoSoy132 and the "Mexican Spring" would disappear now that the Mexican elections concluded on July 1, think again. A YouTube channel called AnonElecciones (AnonElections) has produced two videos the last two days suggesting that voter fraud and other repressive measures occurred during the elections. Enrique Peña Nieto, the candidate of Mexico's Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which ruled the country from 1929-2000, is leading in the vote count, even though the results have not been confirmed and Peña Nieto's main opponent is claiming fraud. Nonetheless, the online world is teeming with protest pics, memes and videos like the one here, claiming and alleging that something wrong had happened.
And then Anonymous shows up.
The following video is in Spanish, but video footage suggests that some type of unusual actions could have possibly occurred the day of the election. Who knows who did it, and sure, they can't spell Anonymous in the title page, but it is still effective and adds fuel to the idea that the Mexican elections were fixed. Of course, officials will very likely deny it, but the video does raise some questions, even with the narrator's creepy Castilian accent from Spain.
