You know we love José Feliciano, and we know that his version of “Feliz Navidad” is huge, but we always get a little grumpy this time of year when everyone thinks that mega-hit is Feliciano’s only song. Nonetheless, it is what it is, so in the spirit of trying to keep things light today, we share a few rare “Feliz Navidad” versions you might not know.

Charo Pee-Wee Christmas

First off, Charo, who sang it on “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” in the late 80s.

Then the bizarrely funny version by Jimmy James, who sings the song to a Bette Davis impersonation. Who would have thought you would ever hear that in your lifetime?

On a serious note, we LOVE this version by Jorge and Alexa Narvaez, so much so that it proves 100% that this song is still very precious to many. Come on, how cute is Alexa?

And here is a cool live version by the great Feliciano.

Ok, it’s still a fun song. We just ask our friends to open their minds a bit and play other cool Spanish songs this holiday season as well. Here are a few.
