It’s almost as if Sofía Vergara doesn’t give a crap any more about how she is viewed in mainstream media. Case in point, right here:

We really want to know who feels proud of this image? Anyone?

Vergara will be part of the new Robert Rodriguez film “Machete Kills,” the sequel to “Machete.” A Vergara quote published by NBC Latino story about the poster said it best:

“I know [my breasts] have opened doors for me, let’s be real,” Vergara said in a 2012 interview with Lucky Magazine. “I am not there to look intelligent. I want to show all this off while I still have it.”

Meanwhile, Rodríguez doesn’t get off easy in this as well. Here is what he says to Entertainment Weekly:

The Texas father of five says he rarely feels the heat from critics of violence in film because the hyper-reality and loopy irony of his films puts them spiritually closer to a Road Runner cartoon than a Taxi Driver remake. For the record, he also thinks the recent debate about on-screen gun control is off target. “To lay the problems of gun violence on movies diminishes the importance of the real issues.”

Right. Lame.
