Pro-Apartheid Texas GOP (and Latina) Leader Shares Bizarre Anti-Semitic and Islamaphobic Tweets, Too

Last week we wrote about story of Cuban American Sara Legvold, a executive committee member of the Texas GOP, who expressed her support for apartheid on a Facebook page for Latino conservatives. Legvold’s comments were brought to the attention of the Texas GOP, who issued a statement basically saying that even though they don’t agree with Legvold’s opinions, there are her opinions. When Legvold heard about this, she proceeded to call a Latino conservative site and its supporters a bunch of “crimmigrants.” Since then that Latino conservative site has asked the Texas GOP for Legvold’s resignation from the party’s executive committee.

Meanwhile, the Legvold story has been picked up by other outlets, and we have also been receiving emails from other Texas Latino conservatives who, to to be frank, are done with Legvold’s actions and words. Sure, this is a free country and Legvold has every right to say what she wants to say, but when you become a public leader of a party by being part of its executive committee, you would think higher standards are in place. Especially since Texas Republicans are trying to actually reach out to Latinos and other groups. Let’s just say this: Legvold’s public comments and actions aren’t helping the cause, and she is causing tons of political friction among fellow Latino conservatives who are want to try and expand the GOP tent. Because, here’s a shocker, they want to win some elections.

Then we have the case of Legvold’s Twitter account. Here is just a sampling of what this Texas GOP leader is sharing with others:

Blame the Isrealis for 9/11.

This is the guy who Legvold is linking to and asking us what we think about it:

Then you have this:

Yes, Sara Legvold: anti-Semite AND Islamaphobe all in one Twitter timeline.

So to sum up, we have a Cuban American GOP leader from Texas who 1) thinks apartheid is awesome 2) posts links from white supremacist pages 3) wants to deport all “illegals,” including their pets 4) thinks Israel caused 9/11 and 5) believes our immigrant laws are allowing Muslims into this country, and we all know every Muslim in the world is a terrorist.

By the way, Legvold is seeing here defenders showing up. On Stormfront. Yeah, Stormfront is defending her. Just a sampling of comments:

I am having a wonderful conversation with her. She is a sweetheart. She just told me she just recieved a death threat…. reported it to the police. She says she refuses to back down.

Her twitter account is interesting. I think she is aregular poster here
The Republican party has gone up in my estimation by keeping her on. I now have a more favorable opinion of Elephants

I just directed her to Lonestar Lady, who is a fellow Texan with 25k followers. Hopefully we can get a positive buzz going.

I am glad to know there are more and more people speaking up…with the truth.
Welcome! Well done, my lady!
Thinking back, I do recall the Hollywood types (stars?) supporting the end of apartheid in South Africa. Money and fame for liberals?
By spewing out whatever the Jews demand and endorse, are the voices of cowards
of Hollywood.
I would like to see a new political party called The White Americans Party.
Sic’ em!

I refuse to post the petition against her, but it is by the Cafe Con Leche Republicans…. the anti-White Hispanics.

We hear from sources that the death threat Legvold is claiming comes from Facebook reaction to her comments as the leader of the Texas GOP. Those claims have been reported to the FBI, according to those who have knowledge of the story.

We are also wondering if the Texas GOP will reconsider their decision to let Sara be Sara. Extreme opinions are not the issue here, but when you are a party leader and are trying to rebrand yourself in Texas, you might want to have Legvold step away from the social media and resign before it gets worse.
