The sentence in the opening graf from NBC News last night said it all: “Feidin Santana, a barber who immigrated to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic, is at the center of a story that has transfixed the nation.” This extended interview from MSNBC with Santana reveals a lot about why he felt is was extremely important to make the Walter Scott video public: “I knew the cop didn’t to the right thing.”

“I felt like I did the right thing for the family. I believe that this can help other people to not do this kind of stuff. Nobody has the right to take away the life away from nobody for no reason.”

De acuerdo, Sr. Santana.
