NPR Explores CONMEBOL’s Immunity from Paraguayan Law

One of the lesser-known angles being reported from the #FIFAScandal has to do with how South America’s CONMEBOL is not subject to the laws of Paraguay, where the football confederation is located. This morning, NPR’s Lourdes García-Navarro visited CONMEBOL in Paraguay. Her report is quite telling, and yes, CONMEBOL officers did not want to talk with NPR. Here is the NPR report:
