With all the news that has been swirling all around us, our team still had a chance to listen to the following A BORDER DRAWN IN BLOOD episode by Latino USA. We are glad that we did, because it is perhaps one of the most complex and riveting pieces ever about the Persley Massacre, one of the biggest stains in the history of the Dominican Republic during the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo. The massacre happened on October 2, 1937 and the killings lasted about a week. It is a history that must never be forgotten.
