Here are five facts you should know:
11.4% of the current U.S. population is of Mexican origin.
The country’s youngest population is of Mexican origin.
The community’s share of the total U.S. Latino population is decreasing.
68% of the community is U.S.-born.
90% of the community is authorized to reside here.
