Last week, Julián Castro ended his presidential campaign. On Monday morning, he endorsed Elizabeth Warren.

In a tweet by Castro’s profile, the former HUD secretary under Obama and the only Latino candidate who took a chance in 2020 said that “Elizabeth and I share a vision of America where everyone counts.” The tweet was accompanied by a campaign video with both Castro and Warren.

Castro will appear with Warren at a Tuesday campaign rally in Brooklyn. Warren currently trails Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden with Latino voters, although she was preforming better than Castro with this electorate. However, both Castro and Warren have run similar campaigns. It will be interesting to see if this endorsement materializes into more support for Warren from Latinos, especially younger ones.
