The Future of the National Museum of the American Latino (VIDEO)

On Thursday, the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration approved the National Museum of the American Latino Act (H.R. 2420), along with with the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum Act (S. 959).

To catch up on the history of the proposed museum, NBC News digitally broadcasted a town hall featuring bill co-sponsors Senators Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and John Cornyn (R-TX), Henry R. Muñoz III, Eva Longoria, Voto Latino CEO María Teresa Kumar, and President and CEO of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, Estuardo Rodríguez.
