As the United States continues to focus on electoral politics in the middle of a global pandemic, Central America is trying to recover from two tragic hurricanes that struck the region in November.

- Journalist Jimena Tavel of the Miami Herald. Jimena has been filing stories about how the hurricanes, including how they have displaced people and created more climate refugees. She was born and raised in Tegucigalpa before moving to Florida as a teenager.
