Latino Rebels Joins Other Organizations in May 15 Call for Open Internet

Tomorrow May 15, LatinoRebels.com stands with other organizations —including the ACLU, EFF and reddit— in a day of action urging President Obama and FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to reject any rules that would harm the open Internet.

A letter sent to the President and the FCC states the following: “Instead of restoring this important principle of nondiscrimination, the Commission’s proposal would make things even worse. Internet service providers should not be in the business of picking winners and losers online … Instead, the Commission must propose and adopt legally sound rules that keep the Internet an open and nondiscriminatory platform for speech and innovation.”
