La Raza Retweets Voting Info & Daily Caller Freaks the Hell Out

The following “story” can easily be called a Streeeeetch, but it is a real published story by The Daily Caller. Seriously it is.

This is what TheDC’s Patrick Howley wrote on October 29, under the headline, “La Raza Promotes Washington Post Guide On Where People Can Vote Without An ID:”

The pro-amnesty Hispanic activist organization the National Council of La Raza helpfully promoted a Washington Post article explaining which states people can vote in without having to use a photo ID.

Then Howley linked to the following Washington Post graphic and story by Aaron Blake:

Shocking right? But this is where it gets stupid. Howley then goes ahead and writes this:

So who ended up using the Post’s helpful graphic? The country’s foremost pro-amnesty Hispanic immigrant organization.

He then referred to this tweet:

And then said that the tweet was “was helpfully retweeted by the National Council of La Raza.”

Seriously? But wait, there’s more. Howley actually goes on video to describe his “scoop:”

So let’s get this straight, the Washington Post shares a graphic about voting ID laws, the Twitter account of an organization from Illinois tweets it out and NCLR retweets it (along 21 other people) and now this is all about “illegals” voting? Howley is an actual professional reporter? He gets paid to write this?

By the way, guess all these people who retweeted the tweet are also promoting “amnesty” as well:
