“We’re not only still in the assessment stage, we’re still in the emergency stage,” FEMA’s Mike Byrne said in the report. “You know, we’re still giving out water. We’re still giving out food. We’re doing a million meals a day, over a million liters of water a day. We’re still powering hospitals with generators. So we still have a long way to go before we’re able to even just get out of emergency response.”
