As Congress looks to vote on tax reform next week, it is pretty much clear that “The Final Republican Tax Bill Screws Over Puerto Rico,” as Mother Jones so aptly put it. Nonetheless, that didn’t stop Puerto Rico governor Ricardo Rosselló from making a final plea on Friday.
Rosselló also shared the same message to NBC News. He also said this, ““I will be very active and I’m sure my colleagues will be very active, in different Puerto Rican populations or Latino populations and make sure everyone knows we were treated as second class citizens.”
Only time will tell.
