On Tuesday night, Judge John D. Bates of the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program must be restored and that new applications must be accepted while the Department of Homeland Security takes 90 days to explain why it wants to cancel the program. In other words, Trump lost tonight. Here is Bates’ decision.
