Inside a Hielera Detention Cell Art Exhibit at SXSW

This past weekend, Latino Rebels was in Austin for SXSW and visited the #AbolishICEBox art exhibit, organized by RAICES. We talked with Jerry Silguero, one of the artists behind the installation, as well as with Barbara Peña of RAICES. We also recorded from inside the installation.

The exhibit will be open the following dates and times (local Austin time):

  • March 15: 11am to 6pm,
  • March 16: 11am to 2pm.

The exhibit will is in parking lot at 308 Guadalupe St.
