The Tragic Death of Francisco Serna: ‘The Police Shot My Father With Nine Bullets to His Body’

On Monday Night, Rogelio (Roy) Serna told Facebook what happened to Francisco Serna, Roy’s 73-year-old father who was killed by police in Bakersfield, California. According to Tuesday reports, the elderly Serna, who suffered from dementia, was unarmed. TIME Magazine reported this: “Authorities said Serna was unarmed when he was shot and killed. Serna’s family believe he had the crucifix with him at the time; they have not found it in the house since his death.”
